Dear Ole Santa
Dear Ole Santa
I want to say,
Thank you Santa
for all these
things,
That make the
children happy,
The Christ Child
and all the joy
it brings.

That special bike
the boys will
want,
And a kitchen
for the girls,
So she will learn
to cook,
Like grandma with
those little cookie
jewels.

I give all honor
to the Christ
Child,
For He is my Lord
and King,
But is good to
celebrate Christmas,
Every day in every
thing.

I like to think
of Santa,
As God's helper
in spreading joy,
To those that
need some pleasure,
For every girl
and boy.

Christmas isn't
just for children,
It lifts the spirit
of us all,
But on Christmas
morn to see their
eyes,
As kids run down
the hall.

Now soon the gifts
will be unwrapped,
And clutter on
the floors,
But we won't worry
about that,
Until the kids
are all out doors.

There's dinner
to be cooked,
And that turkey
looks just right,
There'll be giblet
gravy with dressing,
And cranberry
sauce tonight.

All desserts will
be prepared,
Their special
for everyone,
A special time
to sit and visit,
So glad that all
could come.
