Happy Hauntings

Beware gruesome creatures
On Halloween Night
Dressed in disguise
Making their plight

Grim Reaper and followers
When sun goes down
Lurking and haunting
All across town

Witches on broomsticks
Scary black cats
Skeletons, werewolves
Vampire bats

Jack-o-lanterns
Red glow in their eyes
Shadows out waltzing
'Neath moonlit skies

Screeching, howling
Sends chills down your spine
Inside or out
There's no place to hide

Goblins arriving
Looking for sweets
Will bring you no harm
If ready with treats

From every dark corner
Wearing a mask
Creatures demanding
Candy in sacks

Rat a tat tat
Pounding on door
Ghoulish laughter
October wind roars

When darkness falls
Turn on your porch light
Everything, eerie
On Halloween night.....
