"A Touch Of Heaven"

'Twas a little touch of heaven
When you came into my life,
A special angel whisper
All aglow with wondrous light.

You didn't come with tiny sighs
But joy to bless my heart,
You didn't look away
But saw me from afar.

You brought a touch of heaven
Rich color to infuse,
To wash my soul with kindness
And sweetness ever true.

You didn't come with teardrops
Though happy ones we share,
And if some sadness ever falls
I know you always care.

You came with soft compassion
Because of all you know,
Of the tender Love of Jesus
Who made your heart His home.

You didn't come to pull away
But, to lift me in God's Grace,
Reflecting all His Glory
His Love, upon your face.

You gifted me with laughter
Your smile from deep within,
Borne from a deep contentment
The life of God you live.

You didn't come with feelings
Of how things ought to be,
But bearing trust in Jesus
In Him, love beautifully.

You bless me with your presence
I want to be with you,
For you lift my spirit higher
In all that's good and true.

Your lovely life inspires me
In you, I see our God,
For the touch you give of heaven
Is pure treasure I can hold.
