The Moving Storm
Just think how like our lives,
Are like a moving storm,
One day all is well and happy,
The next day we may be sad and torn.

Yet that is part of life,
Storms must come our way,
But in it all we become much stronger,
At the close of day.

We must see the good and bad,
As we experience both,
The raging seas and storm clouds rise,
But in both a beauty unfolds.

The dark mysterious clouds,
And lightning sharp and strong,
Make us feel the power of nature,
And shows where we belong.

Many make their living as fishermen,
Living mostly on the sea,
They see their lives in danger many times,
But that is where they want to be.

The open waters and excitement,
Seem to fill their needs,
To what they want from life,
Fighting the stormy seas.

They come on shore to get supplies,
And then they're gone again,
To fill their dreams of challenge,
And finish out they're plans.

They say home is where the heart is,
And I guess that must be true,
For some will say their heart is on the sea,
Sailing the ocean blue.

The winds may rise with clouds of black,
And thunder in the storm,
Strikes of lightning all around,
That sometimes brings them harm.

I guess we like to live our dreams,
Regardless what they be,
Often times facing danger,
More dangerous than the sea.

Some will not understand our wanderings,
And what might make us so,
But each has his own life and plans,
And feel they have to go.

Life can be what we want it to be,
If we walk the right roads,
But it can be a roaring sea of danger,
Completely out of control.
