My Time To Remember When
If every day was like Christmas Oh,
What happiness there would be,
With little girls and boys around for,
Jesus and us by the Tree.

Memories come along every year,
At this time and my heart smiles,
Remembering little things I cling,
To Oh for a zillion miles.

I'm humbly grateful and thankful for,
So many blessings Jesus,
Gave us but most of all our children,
And I miss those years I guess.

Magic moments breeze near me every,
Christmas and they're my keepsakes,
I hold in my heart as the pictures,
Softly drift by in snowflakes.

Those were the best and sweetest times I,
Can recall when our children,
Were home at Christmas with us and it's,
My time to remember when.

Sweet little smiling faces with eyes,
Bigger than saucers waiting,
For a big snow to slide on sleds and,
Pretend to be ice skating.

Building really big forts and throwing,
Lots of snow balls and drinking,
Hot chocolate a while for their little,
Minds were so busy thinking.

Going to cut down a huge Christmas,
Tree just right for some of their,
Hand made decorations and trimmings,
Big eyes open wide to stare.

Stringing popcorn balls all round the Tree,
Over Christmas balls and lights,
Was the most fun since it was for snacks,
Too while Love fills us all nights.

Laughing, having good times just singing,
Happy Birthday to Jesus,
Thanking Him for being born, then bed,
I love you prayers to bless us.

My heart cries with joy at Christmas just,
Reminiscing of these days,
Now gone and yet it seems like only,
Yesterday and God I Praise.

If every day was like Christmas Oh,
What happiness there would be,
With little girls and boys around for,
Jesus and us by the Tree.
