Winter Wonderland
A new fallen snow
covers the ground,
Happy children
laugh as they
play,
The jingle of
sleigh bells ring
out as,
People take rides
in their winter
sleigh.

Smoke curls from
the chimneys,
Evergreens wear
gowns of white,
The birds peck
red Holly berries,
Suet cakes and
seeds placed in
sight.

The beauty of
a Winter Wonderland,
Overtakes me as
I gaze all around,
The wind blows
blanketing the
snow,
I see God's work
as Winter abounds.

Wood hauled in
for the fireplace,
Food bought for
the Holiday ahead,
Happiness falls
as thick as the
snow,
Greetings exchanged,
smiles spread.

Friends gather
in Holiday spirit,
Excitement grows
with the day,
Mom and Dad busy
shopping,
'Tis a season
of joyous display.

Couples stopping
along their walk,
Mistletoe above
in the trees,
A silent stolen
kiss amidst the
snow,
Hearts warmed,
eyes sparkle with
glee.

A Winter Wonderland
surrounds,
Great beauty in
its presentation,
A time of slowing
down our pace,
Revealing Winter's
transformation.

Revel in this
Season's surroundings,
The purity of
a Winter Wonderland,
Remember the Creator
of this Earth,
Enjoy The art
by the Master's
Hand.
